Applications
Applications are closed!
Ink City, while being very plot-driven, is mostly laid-back in terms of applications and acceptance.
Our applications don’t require a specific word count, but a medium amount is preferable. We need to be sure that you know your character well enough to play them, but you aren’t required to write their whole biography!
We judge based on how well you know the character, but good grammar is extremely encouraged as well. We probably won’t accept you if there’s too many spelling errors, as that just shows that you don’t care.
Be aware though there are kinds of characters that are not appropriate for the City or its community, even if they fit the criteria. Before applying a character make sure to double check the RULES!
If there’s a problem with your application (which in most cases, there won’t be), we’ll be sure to reply to it as PENDING, and explain what needs to be fixed so you can try again. If your application has too many problems and needs massive revision, we’ll REJECT, but not without giving reasoning behind it. But don’t be discouraged! Rejected apps can try again a week afterward.
Fill out the sheet below, and good luck! We hope to see you in Ink City soon!

Re: OBLIVION IS AT HAND! (a.k.a. Attempt #2)
O'Malley, that's rude!
I know what you're thinking, "why does this look like a post I saw from Pulsor93 at livejournal"?
The answer: "HI!"
P.S. I apologize for asking to join a few days ago, hit the wrong button.
P.P.S. Please let me join, I want to be a screenwriter and feel rp'ing would improve my dialogue.
P.P.P.S. Still don't get how to do that phrase=link thing.

How can I improve my app?
I will start using Dear Mun (though how do I do it effectively)
Re: How can I improve my app?
It's not always about how much you write in an application, but what you write. You can have lots of information and detail but still have it all be about the same problems. Quality over quantity is very important to consider.
A dressing room (which is a much more generally plotless and laid-back RPG not requiring applications) seems like it'd be best suited to you right now, as opposed to a very plot-heavy app-game like Ink City. Though most dressing rooms are based on specific canons (such as Aperture_DR based on the Portal games or KingdomDressing based on the Kingdom Hearts franchise), they are usually completely panfandom and will allow any character to join no matter what canon they're from.
Re: How can I improve my app?
I figured that with the absence of Heloise, the City could use a major supervillain who would want to create a genuine evil alliance. Is there anything specific I could do to my app to get accepted?
If not, I do have other ideas for characters I could try.
Re: How can I improve my app?
Understandable, but if you've looked at our Taken List, the City is currently housing plenty of supervillains.
It's not as much about the character as what you've currently demonstrated as far as experience and ability. Again, I really recommend taking O'Malley or any other character you have in mind to a Dressing Room.
Re: How can I improve my app?
If I re-apply after some dear mun experience, would I be more likely to be accepted?
